History of Enterprise
In 1975 it was decided to build a light
industry enterprise for production of porcelain tableware in Gomel region, Dobrush city. The first products
were manufactured on the 28th of December 1978 – this date is
considered to be the day the factory’s foundation.
In December 1991 the enterprise’s personnel changed
to leasing household form. In February 1992 the enterprise changed its name - «Leaseholders
Enterprise Dobrush Industrial Trading Firm «Porcelain».
Since December 1993 privatization of the
enterprise has been realized. The form of ownership has been changed to the collective
one.
In January 1997 the factory was renamed to Private
Joint Stock Company "Dobrush Porcelain Factory" due to transformation
into a joint-stock company.
Contractually the enterprise is a part of enterprises
under the direction of Belarusian State
Concern for production and sale of light industry products of the Republic of Belarus (Concern «Bellegprom»).
At PJSC "Dobrush Porcelain Factory" structural
departments of production group with total personnel number of 1245 workers are
operating.
The main technological raw materials are
imported from Ukraine and Russia.
Only 20% from auxiliary materials are produced in the Republic of Belarus.
Output process is mechanized and automated.
Products are manufactured by molding and forming methods.
PJSC "Dobrush Porcelain Factory" produces
chinaware in assortment: retail (plates, saucers,
butterdishes, salad bowls, bowls, herring dishes, sugar bowls, teapots, tea
pairs, mugs, glasses, soup bowls, dishes, kitchen souvenirs, saltcellars, spoon
stands); complete sets (tea sets, sets of salad bowls, tableware sets, sets of
plates, milk sets, drink sets, sets for aspic, meat dumplings (ravioli) sets,
soup sets, children sets, spicery sets, wine sets, tableware sets).
Considerable part of production is decorated. Different
paints, decals, gold-containing materials, cobalt and cobalt salts are used for
this. Different decoration methods are used – edging with a paint, luster or
gold, covering with paint or luster by air brushing or silk screening, application
of decals, hand painting and others.
It is remarkable, that for development of products
forms and design the enterprise uses only its own designer's solutions, that’s
why the production of the company is recognizable and has found its regular
buyers.
The activity of the enterprise is aimed at the foreign
sales expansion, consolidation of the sales markets position, satisfaction of
population demands in comparatively inexpensive and high-quality household
goods.
At this moment PJSC "Dobrush Porcelain
Factory" is the largest manufacturer of porcelain tableware in the Republic of Belarus.
